Once again for 2010, the US EPA is planning
some significant changes for the DMR-QA study.
But, just as in years past, ERA is working hard to
keep you informed of the changes and keep the
process as simple as possible. We look forward
to working with you through these changes and
earning your business again this year.
Schedule
The ordering deadline for DMR-QA 30 will be March
15, 2010 and all studies
must close by July 2,
2010. Additionally, laboratories will be able to
use a NELAC compliant WP study that starts in January
and closes by July 2. You can choose from the six
ERA studies to meet your DMR-QA
requirements as conveniently as possible.
New Analytes
EPA is adding low-level standards for Total Residual Chlorine and Mercury
to the requirements of DMRQA
30. The TRC standard will be in the microgram per liter range and the
Mercury will be present at
nanograms per liter. These standards are designed for facilities with
low level requirements in their
permits. ERA has included low-level standards for these analytes in our
PT studies for several years and is
ready to help you meet this new requirement.
